The department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering was established during the inception of the institute in 2003. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education, training, and research at the undergraduate level in various areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with broad emphasis such as Integrated Electronics and Circuits, Machines, Control & Automation, Power Systems & Power Electronics.
For the employability enhancement of engineering students, additional certification courses on relevant industry-related topics are organized. EX Department has organized a course on ‘Industrial Automation and Control’ in association with NPTEL. Video lectures of the courses are available through NPTEL and a workshop & lab for PLC is provided in the department. In addition to that faculty members dedicated to the course support the students in understanding the subject details and assignment solutions.
An expert Lecture was conducted for students of the EX department on “Energy Saving using Variable speed drives and their application in the industry”.
This expert lecture was conducted by Sri Nikhil Kaushik associated with PCRA-Petroleum Conservation & Research Association in 21-FEB-2018. The contents delivered were very interesting and have sensitized our students with respect to saving that can be achieved by proper management.

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started in 2009. It is presently headed by Assistant Professor Mr. Vivek Bhargava, MTech having more than 8 years of teaching experience. In the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, we have well qualified and experienced teaching faculty having an experience ranging from 1 year to 15+ years. It also has well trained non teaching staff, some of whom are pursuing BE in the University.
The department has over 100 students studying in it. The student’s performance has been very good. In the recently concluded exams of 8th semester, the overall result is 98% with 24 distinctions. They have achieved various milestones by winning various prizes both in academics and extracurricular activities.
The department is well equipped with all the laboratories with an investment of more than 50 Lakhs. It has Logic Design Lab and Analog Electronics Circuits lab for 3rd semester, Microcontroller and HDL lab for 4th semester, DSP and MATLAB, Analog Communication +LIC lab for 5th semester, Advanced communication lab and Advanced microprocessor lab for 6th semester, Cadence lab and power electronics lab for 7th semester. All these labs are well equipped with complete hardware and software requirements.
The department has tie ups with many more companies. These companies are providing basic requirements for students to carry out their projects and also do mini projects. They also provide internship for students during their vacation.
The department has conducted ROBOTIC Workshop with the coordination of IIT Mumbai. The department is always indulged in conducting various cultural activities. The department also has many plans to conduct various events in the near future.
The College has started offering courses in Mechanical Engineering from 2009. Already the facilities required for class rooms and labs are in place. The equipment’s required for all semesters Foundry, Forging & Material Testing labs have been procured. The equipment’s for the other labs of every semester have already established.
The facilities in the basic workshop have been expanded. New facilities have been provided for computers Aided Drawings.
New Teaching staffs have been recruited in view of the starting of Mechanical Engineering branch.
The Mechanical Engineering Department offers teaching in the Basic subject Elements of Mechanical and trains the students in Computer Aided Engineering Drawing.
