The Civil Engineering Department was founded at Adina Institute of Science and Technology in 2009, marking the start of a journey dedicated to teaching students the intricate art of creating vital structures that define our everyday lives. With an annual intake of 60 students, the department stands as a hub for fostering the next generation of engineers. Its state-of-the-art laboratories and cutting-edge tools serve as playgrounds for exploration, enabling hands-on learning experiences where theoretical knowledge meets practical application.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • General/OBC Category: Students must have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). 
  • SC/ST Category: Students must have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

  • Basic Civil Engineering Lab:- This lab serves as an introduction to fundamental concepts in civil engineering, offering hands-on experience with basic tools and techniques used in the field. 
  • Surveying Lab:- Equipped with modern surveying instruments, this lab provides practical training in land measurement, mapping, and data collection for construction projects. 
  • Building Planning & Architecture Lab:- Focused on architectural design principles and building planning, this lab facilitates creative exploration and analysis of structural design concepts. 
  • Strength of Materials Lab:- This lab allows students to experimentally analyze the properties of various construction materials under different loads, enabling a deeper understanding of material strength and behavior. 
  • Structure Lab:- Dedicated to structural analysis and experimentation, this lab aids students in understanding the behavior and response of different structural elements under varying conditions. 
  • Geology Lab: Geared towards studying geological formations and materials, this lab enables students to examine and understand the geological aspects relevant to civil engineering projects. 
  • Material Testing Lab:- Focusing on material testing procedures, this lab allows students to conduct experiments to assess the properties and quality of construction materials. 
  • Quantity Surveying Lab:- Students learn the techniques of estimating quantities and costs of materials required for construction projects using advanced software and methodologies. 
  • Fluid Mechanics Lab:- This lab is equipped to demonstrate and analyze the behavior of fluids in motion, enabling students to study hydraulic principles essential in civil engineering applications. 
  • Transportation Engineering Lab:- With a focus on transportation systems, this lab allows students to explore and evaluate various components and materials used in transportation infrastructure. 
  • Geotechnical Engineering Lab:- Students engage in soil analysis and experimentation to understand the behavior and properties of soil, crucial for designing foundations and earth structures. 
  • Environmental Engineering Lab:- This lab concentrates on analyzing water and air quality, waste management techniques, and environmental impact assessments related to civil engineering projects, emphasizing sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
